Introduced in the 1930’s in New Mexico. Productive plants produce olive green seed with brown saddles. Agate did very well for me this year despite the cool wet conditions. (80 days to maturity)
Originally developed by Professor Elwyn Meader at the University of New Hampshire. One of the earliest fresh eating soy beans. The 2’ plants produce delicious all green soy beans.
