An early variety from Italy that was brought over to America in the 1880’s by Italian immigrants. The central head can reach 8 inches and many shoots form after it is cut. Great tasting. (60-70 days from transplant)
An Italian heirloom that was introduced to North America in the 1890’s. After the main head is cut it produces many smaller sprouts which extend the harvest. De Cicco is quite early.
