Guernsey Half Long (pre-1850)

Introduced prior to 1850, Guernsey Half Long was very popular in the 19th century. The roots do not grow quite as long as Hollow Crown and are easier to harvest. Very good flavor.

Hollow Crown (1820)

Developed in England in the early 1800's, Hollow Crown Parsnip is still the most widely grown parsnip today. Nice long roots with good flavor.

  • Package Qty: 100 seeds
  • Price: $3.00

Kral Russian

An old variety from Russia. The roots look just like the old Turnip Rooted Parsnip of Fearing Burr's Field and Garden Vegetables of America. Because the roots are not as long as ordinary parsnips but turnip shaped instead, Kral Russian does very well in shallow or heavy clay soil. EXTREMELY RARE.
