Heritage Harvest Seed is a mail order business specializing in rare and endangered varieties of vegetables, flowers and herbs. To preserve heirloom varieties and offer the seed for sale to the public we spend countless hours tracking down rare seed sources and delving into the histories of each variety.
In 2008, we have over one hundred new varieties to offer. Many of our varieties are in low quantity, so we strongly recommend you to order early for best selection.
This year we are offering many new varieties of heirloom flowers, such as the Leopoldii Phlox and Black Prince snapdragon are extremely rare. We are also offering Ukrainian Hollyhock that has been growing on my family's farm near Fisher Branch, Manitoba since my great grandparents first settled there.
At Heritage Harvest Seed we garden organically, although we are not certified. We take the growing of heirloom vegetables and the saving of seed very seriously. When you purchase seed from Heritage Harvest Seed you can be assure that the seed is viable and true to type, and that it has been grown and harvested responsibly.
